Login Issues

If you can’t find the login link in your email please take the following steps:

  • Wait 1-2 minutes, sometimes there is a slight delay in emails being sent or received.

  • Please check your spam/junk folder.

  • Please make sure you used the correct email address. For security purposes we do not confirm the existence of specific accounts. If you enter an incorrect email when trying trying to reset your password or get a login link, you won’t see an error.

Ensure you’re trying to log in with the correct account:

Everyone receives a welcome email after signing up. The easiest way to confirm you’re using the correct email address is to search your email for messages from us. If you do not see a welcome email, you likely used a different email to log in.

How do I cancel my subscription or trial?

You must cancel your subscription wherever you purchased it. Please see below:

If you have a website subscription, simply tap here.

If you purchased it via our iPhone app:

In our iPhone app, Talkspace Self-Guided subscriptions are purchased via your iTunes account, so canceling your subscription can be done on your Subscriptions page in your iPhone's Settings app.  Please note that you cannot cancel your subscription inside the Talkspace Self-Guided app; it must be done via your iPhone's Settings app. Here are the steps to canceling your subscription in your iPhone's Settings app, as written by Apple:

  • Open your Settings app

  • Tap "iTunes & App Store"

  • Tap on your Apple ID

  • Tap View Apple ID (you might need to sign in or use Touch ID)

  • Tap Subscriptions

  • Tap on the subscription that you want to manage

  • Use the options to cancel or manage your subscription and cancel.


If you purchased it via the
Android app:

In our Android app, Talkspace Self-Guided subscriptions are purchased via Google Play, so canceling your subscription can be done in the Google Play app:

  • Go to your Google Play app

  • Tap the Menu icon

  • Tap on "Subscriptions"

  • User the options to manage your subscription and cancel.

I purchased my subscription via iTunes (iPhone) and would like a refund. What can I do?

If you purchased your Talkspace Self-Guided subscription through our iPhone app, then you purchased it via Apple iTunes. For security reasons, Apple blocks developers (like Talkspace, Netflix, Headspace) from accessing your iTunes account , so you will need to contact them in order to get a refund.

Please contact Apple iTunes Customer Support directly at https://support.apple.com/contact by tapping “Talk To Us.”

I purchased my subscription via Google Play (Android) and would like a refund. What can I do?

If you purchased your Talkspace Self-Guided subscription through our Android app, then you purchased it via Google Play. You will need to contact us in order to get a refund.

Please email our team directly with a copy of your purchase receipt or your Google Play Order Number (begins with GPA) at lmh@getlasting.zendesk.com.

If you cannot locate the purchase receipt email from Google Play, please follow the steps below to find your Google Play Order Number:

  1. Visit: https://payments.google.com/

  2. Log in to your Google account

  3. Select the Talkspace Self-Guided purchase

  4. Note the Order Number at the bottom of the receipt

I can’t find my subscription, what do I do?

How can I tell if I’ve canceled my subscription? 

You will keep your premium status until the end of your subscription period, but you may want to confirm that you’ve successfully canceled. Navigate to the place where you purchased your subscription, and look for the words “expires on” or “cancels on”. These indicate your subscription will not renew at the end of the subscription period.

If you subscribed via your iPhone app, then you will need to navigate to your Apple subscriptions page:

  • Open your Settings app

  • Tap "iTunes & App Store"

  • Tap on your Apple ID

  • Tap View Apple ID (you might need to sign in or use Touch ID)

  • Tap Subscriptions

  • Beneath your Talkspace Self-Guided subscription, the gray print should say either “expires on” or “renews on”. If your subscription says “expires on” then you’ve successfully canceled. If it says “renews on” then you have not canceled your subscription.

If you subscribed via your Android app, then you will need to navigate to your subscriptions page. 

  • Go to your Google Play app

  • Tap the Menu icon

  • Tap on "Subscriptions"

  • Beneath your Talkspace Self-Guided subscription, the gray print should say either “cancels on” or “renews on”. If your subscription says “cancels on” then you’ve successfully canceled. If it says “renews on” then you have not canceled your subscription.

How do I delete my account and all of my answers?

You can permanently delete your account and unpair your app using the Talkspace Self-Guided app. If you have the app installed, navigate to this page in the app:

  • Go to the Profile tab,

  • open the Settings menu

  • Tap “My Data”.

  • Delete your account

IMPORTANT: Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are tied to your Apple/Google Play ID, and neither platform enables app developers (like Talkspace Self-Guided) to cancel subscriptions on behalf of users.

What happens to my sessions and answers if I cancel my subscription?

Here’s the good news: None of your answers will be lost, and you can re-subscribe at any time.

However, all premium sessions are locked for free users. As a free user, you won’t be able to play new sessions or view comparisons for premium sessions. 

Can I use Talkspace Self-Guided with my current therapist?

Yes, you absolutely can use Talkspace Self-Guided with your current therapist, whether you’re in individual or couples therapy. In fact, research shows that therapy is very effective with a mix of in-person sessions and digital interactions. Using Talkspace Self-Guided with a therapist is an effective way to make the most of the content in the app.

You might need to introduce your therapist Talkspace Self-Guided. An easy way to introduce your therapist to Talkspace Self-Guided is to tell them you found a self-guided counseling app, based in research, that compliments the work you are doing together. Ask your therapist if they are open to using it with you throughout your sessions. Generally speaking, therapists are happy when clients initiate their own ideas for what they want to work on and how they want to do it.

We recommend choosing a Talkspace Self-Guided session or two together with your therapist before your next therapy appointment. At your next appointment, you can go through the Talkspace Self-Guided session with your therapist or talk through what you completed before coming.

All of the content in Talkspace Self-Guided can help initiate or continue your in-person therapy process.
