About This Series
Low sexual desire is one of the most common struggles couples can deal with. Stress, trauma, and low levels of communication can diminish intimacy and create barriers to satisfying sex. But here’s the thing: when you and your partner work together, it is possible to increase desire in your relationship.
That’s what you’ll do in this Workshop series, alongside Lyn Martin, licensed therapist and Relationship Expert.
Three-Session Breakdown
In our first session, you and your partner will identify barriers to authentic pleasure. You will practice naming these barriers and practice vulnerability with each other. Through guided exercises, you and your partner will explore how your pleasure is impacted by the following areas:
Old stories/beliefs
Traumatic experiences
New life phases & transitions
In our second session, you and your partner will take the first steps toward intentionally cultivating and growing pleasure together. Through guided exercises, you will work together to:
Identify unique accelerators and brakes
Unlock your own pleasure
Plan for changing your context
In our third and final session, you and your partner will create concrete plans for how to intentionally move forward together in your sex life.
Through guided exercises, you and your partner will:
Commit to communication
Plan to incorporate fantasies
Navigate phase of life changes
Come ready for gentle, guided discussion. While we strive to offer you educational therapy content, the goal of this workshop is to drive connection between you and your partner, offering a space for you both to be vulnerable about your needs.
